Who you are
• Holds a design degree related to interior design or has extensive experience in the retail environment.
• Proficient in handling design tools such as CAD, SketchUp, REVIT, Photoshop, Illustration, and PPT.
• A deep passion, curiosity and understanding of home furnishing and people’s everyday life at home.
• Proven experience as a visual merchandiser with a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Actively seeking new and improved ways of working.
• Capable of physical tasks like climbing ladders, handling heavy equipment’s and construction tools.
• An active and creative thinker, part of the store’s development. Your energy is key.
• A driver of co-creation and collaboration within the commercial team.
• Fluent in English and confident in communication.

Your responsibilities
• Bringing objects to life in a fast-paced retail environment as being a part of the store visual merchandise/activity team.
• Presenting and communicating the IKEA product range in attractive and relevant ways.
• Supporting customer self-choice in the IKEA store and the IKEA mechanical sales system.
• Positioning IKEA as the top choice for home furnishing in the local market.
• Providing home furnishing solutions using visual presentation techniques.
• Showcasing IKEA’s unique product range to set us apart from the competition.
• Presenting inspiring home furnishing solutions to encourage frequent store visits.
• Using the store layout for a good product overview and strong visual impact.
• Seeking and promoting commercial opportunities.
• Presenting and communicating the IKEA product range in attractive and relevant ways.
