Senior Specialist, VM&ISC, Retail

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Develop Omnichannel consumer experience strategic plan for the market in line with global principles and guide clusters/countries to ensure efficient implementation across Retail and WHS mono door. Responsible for the deployment of global concepts and the optimization of all consumer touchpoints to elevate consumer impact. The purpose of this role is to elevate visual and Instore Communication excellence in Retail stores across South Korea, ensuring that all visual merchandising aligns with global standards and enhances the overall shopping experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

Visual and ISC Excellence:

  • Ensure all retail stores adhere to global visual merchandising standards.
  • Implement visual merchandising strategies that enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
  • Regularly update visual displays to reflect current trends, promotions, and seasonal changes.

Store Collaboration:

  • Work closely with retail store teams to maintain visual standards and execute visual merchandising and ISC plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to store staff on visual merchandising best practices.
  • Collaborate with the stakeholders to ensure alignment on visual merchandising initiatives.

Performance Analysis:

  • Analyze store performance data to assess the impact of visual merchandising and ISC tools on sales and customer engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for visual improvements based on performance metrics and customer feedback.

Training & Development:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for store teams on visual merchandising standards and techniques.
  • Mentor and coach store visual merchandisers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop ISC tool, signage and digital HW & CMS to high-light product and deliver brand message in store level.
  • Collaborate with global and local creator to localize ISC tools to be aligned with global guidance.
  • Regular alignment meeting w/ Retail store VM team and VM Agencies

Compliance & Standards:

  • Become the Market communication counterpart for the Global Consumer Experience VM & ISC team.
  • Digest global concept guidance and share with local partner and store team.
  • Ensure all visual merchandising activities comply with global and local standards.
  • Conduct regular store visits to audit visual merchandising compliance and provide feedback for improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure cohesive and effective visual presentations.
  • Partner with the Training team to integrate visual merchandising training into overall training programs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong presentation, communication, and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders within a global matrix organization.
  • Strong cross-functional and stakeholder management experience across commercial functions and support functions
  • Computer Skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Business communication level spoken and written in Korea and English.

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years retail VM/ISC planning and execution.
  • Regional expertise desired
  • University degree ideally in Interior design/ fashion design/ Visual Merchandising/ Graphic design
