Factory capacity modeling, simulation and utilization management
Productivity and efficiency improvement of factory facilities and direct labor resources
Production cycle time and labor hour reduction by waste elimination and various CIP activities
Lean production and Cell line design and optimization
Prepare workstation or equipment layouts for new production or modify existing layouts using AutoCad software
Determines the most efficient sequence of operations and work flow
Utilize line-balancing techniques to determine process or operator loading and production flow
Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles on process improvement initiatives and developing best known methods
Perform time studies in support of level loading and productivity enhancements
Interfaces with production personnel, design engineering and other manufacturing engineers on incorporating changes to the processes which improve product manufacturability and quality
Develop & Design tools and fixtures that enable manufacturing and process improvement
Perform assignments requiring use and application of standard engineering techniques
Develop cost-benefit comparisons of alternate methods, parts, tooling, or equipment
Who We¡¯re Looking For
Bachelor degree of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or relevant field experience
Should have a Minimum 6 years of practical experience in industrial engineering in an automotive or automation environment or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Capacity modeling, calculation and utilization management of production line
