Service Operation Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Service business as a senior electrical project lead engineer in Cheonan, Korea. Main stakeholders are customers, project managers, mechanical engineers, and tendering engineers. You will be mainly accountable for: • Working with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements • Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost • Acting as a role model in applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations. • Serving as a specialist in the application of advanced concepts and methods. • Leading, supervising, and coordinates teams in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects of medium complexity. • Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors. Qualifications for the role

• 10 years of experience in electrical engineering for electrical equipment, especially HV/MV/LV SWGRs, MCCs, PDBs, Communication systems & Integrations,
• Working experiences as a senior project lead engineer or a project manager or a technical advisor with ABB products and strong technical background
• Sound knowledge of engineering and project management techniques, processes and tools, including Electrical Autocad, Eplan, and relavant engineering tools
• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or a similar field
• A strong focus on safety and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines
• Demonstrated management skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach
• Communication skill in Korean and English
