ACST Cleans Marketing – Global Product Line Manager
DuPont Electronics & Industrial is hiring Global Product Line Manager for Advanced Cleans & Slurry Technologies as part of Semiconductor Technologies. This position will lead full life-cycle, performance and cost structure of post-CMP product lines, with the aim of achieving sustainable, profitable growth.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Increase value and profitability of the PCMP product lines by ensuring effective manufacturing from cost (direct and hidden), reliability (consistency and supply) and quality perspectives.
- Understand the positioning of the PCMP product lines in their life-cycle and define 5-year technical roadmap in collaboration with Segment Leaders (including PCNs).
- Define key raw materials strategy in collaboration with R&D, Quality and Supply Chain to support execution with Procurement team.
- Oversee new products development process in all stages of the development cycle. Align with internal functions for each stage gate review.
- Partnering with key stakeholders and a wide variety of functional groups such as Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Product Stewardship to support new product development efforts. This includes managing product development process activities, creating detailed project objectives and technical requirements, and creating a detailed go-to market plan.
- Performing detailed competitive analysis summaries and recommend product(s) or feature(s) to fill gaps in the product portfolio and improve our competitive position.
- Building top line growth by managing customer pricing, and selectively proposing PCN to prevent market share erosion when alternative offering is effective.
- Managing bottom line and profitability of PCMP sub-segment by ensuring effective manufacturing from cost (direct and hidden), reliability (consistency and supply) and quality perspectives.
- Supporting PCN (Raw Materials, packaging, others) strategy in collaboration with Quality, R&D, DE, and Supply Chain and supporting execution with Procurement team.
- Modeling capacity required to meet projected demand over a 5 years¡¯ horizon. Consolidating demand with other Product Lines manager and regional sales leader.
- Coordinating site-specific large-scope projects or supply situations management when multiple Product lines are impacted.
Primary Location: Taiwan or Asia Pacific Region
Job Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor¡¯s or Master¡¯s degree in science or business.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience.
- Minimum 5 years of cumulated experience in commercial roles (marketing or account management)
- Prior experience in semiconductor specialty chemicals or CMP/PCMP products, commanding proficient understanding of fundamentals and principles.
- Demonstrated strong key skills in strategic thinking and product portfolio management.
- Ability to navigate a matrix organization structure and partner with functional teams to meet or exceed internal customers¡¯ expectations.
- Result oriented. A track record of setting clear priorities and goals and delivering them.
- Excellent communicator who is highly effective at building and maintaining networks; effective written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Full professional proficiency in English (spoken, written, read) with good communication skills.
- Fluent with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred but not required:
- Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, electronic or material sciences.
- Degree in Business Administration (MBA or similar).
- Good understanding of CMP fundamentals and principles.
- Prior experience in strategy management.
