[Position] Pit Supervisor - Craps
Position Summary
- Responsible for the Supervision of the Casino Operation within an assigned area.
- The Pit Supervisor will ensure that the highest standards of efficiency, guest service, and security are met in accordance with the company's policies and procedures and the directives as set down in the Casino Operations Manual.
- The Pit Supervisor are expected to perform these duties to the highest standards of efficiency, guest service and integrity. In order to consistently exceed guest expectations and provide the highest levels of product and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure all of the Dealers follow the directives as set down in the Casino Operations Manual.
Observes activity on the casino floor and watches for dishonest activity by dealers and/or players.
Monitor junkets, house players and high rollers maintaining rating records.
Ensure that the Dealers are performing their duties to the highest standards.
Alerts security for removal of players suspected of cheating or counting cards.
Answers general questions about the casino or a specific game.
Addresses complaints concerning dealers or other casino staff.
Maintains cordial relations with customers and calms disruptive customers.
Maintains an orderly and inviting atmosphere on the casino floor.
Qualifications
Solid understanding of craps game is mandatory
Practices and promotes Outstanding Guest Service, to both internal as well as external guests
Minimum of 5 years Casino experience preferred.
Courteous and professional manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to handle unexpected or unpleasant situations calmly and in a professional manner.
Knowledge of various casino games.
Foreign language skills are preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when required.
Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
Operational Work Environment.
Be able to work in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions.
Based on Operational requirements, be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
