Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth running of all aspects of Discovery Park at the Leisure Service in line with the INSPIRE¡¯s Corporate and Functional Strategies, Policies and INSPIRES¡¯s Brand Standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Oversight of Discovery Park as Required.
- Oversight of facility needs for Discovery Park. Performs daily checks of all areas to ensure all areas are clean, safe, and set up according to our standards.
- Verifies all reporting and tracking of water quality, temperature, etc are completed according to local regulations and INSPIRE standards. Reports any challenges to ENG team and follows up as needed.
- Maintains all product and amenity stock for facilities, toilets, and WCs for all areas. Monitors daily, tracks inventory, and places orders to ensure all areas are stocked and set up according to our standards.
- Oversees all linen needs for Discovery Park. Compiles all monthly Requirement inventory, placing orders as needed.
- Assists with giving tours and other operational tasks as needed. Ensures all colleagues have a break time, assisting with coverage as needed during this time.
- Professionally deals with dissatisfied or disgruntled guests.
- Ensures that mistakes are corrected and coaches the colleague on the procedures that were performed correctly and those that were performed incorrectly.
- Reads and replies to all e-mails from guests, vendors, and colleagues.
- Performs regular walk-throughs of all areas to ensure standards are met and teams are supported.
- Conducts daily briefings and regular meetings. Ensures information is communicated effectively with all colleagues not present.
- Ensures that all costs are strictly controlled in line with the budget.
- Responsible for monthly inventory of BOH products, attire and linen.
- Completes all daily and monthly reports as assigned.
- Keeps up with current park trends to make sure the park programs and equipment remain competitive and cutting edge.
- Attends relative functions and promotions for and on behalf of the Leisure Services when necessary.
- Assists with recruiting, training, and developing of pool employees following the operational, financial, and administrative philosophies.
- Through hands-on management, supervises closely all employees in the performance of their duties in accordance with policies & procedures and applicable laws.
- Delegates appropriate duties and responsibilities, whilst ensuring standards of operation and safety are maintained.
- Monitors employee morale and provides mechanisms for performance feedback and development.
- Knowledgeable in statutory legislation in employee and industrial relations.
- Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
- Reads the INSPIRE¡¯s Employee Handbook and understands and adheres to the INSPIRE¡¯s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
- Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.
- Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Qualifications:
- Min 2~3 years¡¯ experience in Sports Center, Resort or Hotel Pool as Team Leader / Supervisor.
- Water Park experience is preferred.
- Must have Physical Education Certificate(»ýȰüÀ°ÁöµµÀÚ ÀÚ°ÝÁõ - ¼ö¿µ) and Lifeguard Certificate is plus
- Good computer skills with minimum requirement in use of Microsoft Windows 98 or higher, Microsoft Office 97 or higher, Internet and other popular software.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to lift up to 20 kgs.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions.
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
Other Requirements:
- Maintaining confidentiality within the organization and protect any information that classified as confidential.
- Requires a valid driver¡¯s license and passport.
