Buying (4 times / year)
- Challenge / evaluate sales projection for the given period, collaborating with business planning team.
- Prepare all the necessary reports to support a flexible and efficient buying prior to the showroom.
- Propose a detailed purchasing plan for categories in charge (Handbags, Mini Bags, and Small Leather Goods) by line, function in terms of value & quantities, which corelates with target sales plan.
- Proceed to complete the order process by sku by store by channel (retail & ecom), review the orders with merchandising (both Central & region) and marketing team, enter data in the system and ensure completion of the orders according to the buying schedule.
Sales Analysis & Product Monitoring
- Follow up sales on daily/weekly basis, liaise with the boutiques and propose action plans if necessary: prepare weekly reports with comments on performances and identify growth opportunities.
- Work with the visual merchandiser in order to ensure proper display of the product based on the visual merchandising guidelines and the sales trend as well as the seasonal message of the brand.
- Review delivery plan with supply chain & logistics team and manage stock status for category in charge.
- Analyse competitors offer, best-sellers and prices.
- Liaise with Sales Planner and Finance to collaborate on sales plans, forecasts and general OTB.
Sales Target & Sell-Through Management
- To follow on sales and sell-through target achievement.
- Liaise with the training and the CRM manager to ensure that all the activities to promote the collections are implemented within the plan agreed with headquarters.
- Plan / execute action plans in order to maximize both sales and sell-through target.
- Prepare / Conduct seasonal product training with collaboration with training team, in order to educate and encourage store teams to reach higher sales from seasonal offers.
