MISSION – Operations Specialist, DC Seoul, SML APAC

We are looking for a self-motivated Operations Specialist who will be responsible for the Distribution Center (DC) day-to-day DC operational task in Korea. We run an 24,000 m2 facility with a workforce of industrial workers (team leaders and team members). You will be responsible for securing continuous improvements in the operational output such as efficiency, quality, lead times, and delivery precision. An equally important responsibility is to improve the way work is being performed and nurture the use of Lean principles with coaching people, improving processes, and the working environment through an inclusive culture. Excellent interpersonal skills, a personal drive to improve and to solve the problem, and a solid ability to cooperate are essential to succeed in this role.

 

The position will be reporting to the head of DC Operations and working closely with Operational Support specialist and team leaders.

 

¡¤       Contribute to secure aimed productivity and optimization of the Distribution Center in DC Operations team by exploring different strategies and methods in parts storing, space utilization, tools, and equipment.

¡¤       Coordinate DC Operations team to develop an active care culture for all operational personnel and colleagues through an active leadership in day-to-day work life.

¡¤       Coach the team leaders and operational personnels in continuous improvement journey throughout Kaizen, problem-solving methodologies.

¡¤       Optimization of performance for the DC operational processes (unloading, binning, put-away, picking, packing, loading, quality checking, discrepancy detection and investigation, etc.)

¡¤       Develop, recommend, and implement improvements in the internal materials flow and administrative processes to improve quality, customer service, lead-time, productivity, and cost-efficiency
