Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript), including application of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience debugging workload issues across multi-node environments.
- Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently as it is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English and Korean.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with any of the following cloud solutions: SQL database administration, Google App Engine, open source software communities, Cloud networking solutions, or distributed computing technology.
- Experience working with any public cloud (GCP) services and infrastructure.
- Experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, Peering, Load Balancing, etc.).
- Knowledge of basic system/network administrator level of Linux/Unix or other operating systems (from Kernel to Shell and beyond, file systems, and client-server protocols).
- Knowledge of basic web technologies (HTTP, HTML, DNS, TCP, etc.).

You will troubleshoot technical problems for customers with a mix of debugging, networking, system administration, updating documentation, and when needed, coding/scripting. You will identify the root problem and improve supportability by working with a team of engineers and product managers. You will make our products easier to adopt and use by making improvements to the product, tools, processes, and documentation. Responsibilities
- Manage the customer’s problems through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools to increase productivity for customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products.
- Develop knowledge of Google's product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis.
- Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.
- Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering teams to find ways to improve the product and drive high-quality production.
- Work as part of a team of Engineers/Consultants that globally ensure 24 hour customer support. This will include a need to sometimes work non-standard work hours or shifts.
