How you will do it

Lead the facility efforts in the transformation of the quality culture and improvement of our processes and products with the goal of Zero Defects.
Lead efforts to drive operational excellence by identifying appropriate leading/lagging Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), setting targets, developing action plans, and driving cross-functional teams to improve processes and products.
Lead cross-functional teams to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) through structured root cause problem solving activities such as 8D and Six Sigma.
Develop, improve, and sustain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including management of the internal audit programs and leadership during external audits.
Plan and oversee the analysis, inspection, testing, and other process controls to assure the quality of the facility products or components to meet specification.
Lead the facility Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) stage gate quality deliverables for new product/process development and Engineering Change Notification (ECN) projects.
Manage the facility supplier quality program including incoming inspection, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), supplier corrective actions, and scorecards to drive improvement.
Maintain a working knowledge of necessary government and industry quality codes and standards.
