Job purpose

The Supply Chain Manager is end responsible for the overall supply chain strategy and execution. The Supply Chain Manager manages the import, warehousing and logistics and also manages the transformation of inbound logistics and outbound logistics with 3rd party logistics provider to ensure on-time and in full delivery of our products to our customers (distributors, key accounts, e-commerce and on trade). In order to guarantee our customers on time and in full delivery of products the SC Manager is end responsible for the Sales & Operational Planning.

Key Result Areas

1.       S&OP Process

°¡)     In order to guarantee our customers on time and in full delivery of products manage Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP)

³ª)     Ensure a solid Sales Forecast (SFC) based on inputs from Sales (short term) and marketing (long term) as a basis for a solid Demand Plan (DP)

´Ù)     Prepare Demand Plan using our specific ¡°Waterfall¡± template to ensure we have fresh stock available at any given point being able to support the business based on the SFC, while limiting the risk of overstock (Aged stock);

2.       Inventory replenishment; Purchase Order process and import

°¡)     Manage the relationships with our (overseas) suppliers and align the demand plan and places the orders with the respective SC operations/factories and ensure timely deliveries to our (3PL) warehouses

³ª)     Manage the import of our products into Korea fulfilling all regulatory requirements

3.       Warehousing, inbound/outbound logistics and inventory management

°¡)     Manage the 3PL provider in terms of inbound, warehousing and outbound logistics to ensure on- time and in full delivery of our products tour customers (key accounts, ecommerce, GT vendors and on-trade)

³ª)     Manage the ordering and deliveries from and to our customers and ensure on time and in full delivery of orders. Make sure we have a full and deep understanding of the customer needs in the field of logistics and warehousing of our products in order to be able to optimize the flow of goods.

´Ù)     Target maximum 30 days of stock per SKU to ensure fresh stock is available to our customers at any point in time

¶ó)     Closely monitor inventory on hand and potential ageing stock to prevent write off¡¯s – report/discuss potential ageing stock on weekly basis to ensure necessary actions are planned by commercial team

¸¶)     Ensure proper stock allocation per SKU per distributor in case of supply constraints based on input from commercial team/country manager.

4.       Complaints, Regulatory and Internal Controls

°¡)     Ensure all complaints are properly registered and reported

³ª)     In case of any complaint/issue raised by the Korean authorities (e.g. MFDS) ensure proper and timely communication

´Ù)     Regulatory support, to verify new product HS code, duty rate, Korean label, package, wording to ensure the compliance, and all other required regulatory reports

¶ó)     Carries out projects (together with external parties) to reduce complexity and cost in the supply chain. Responsible for SKU rationalization/optimization in consultation with other functions. Involved in existing product development (EPD), new product development (NPD) and plays important role in re-packing activities as well in optimization of systems (e.g. SAP implementation).

¸¶)     Maintain current SOPs (e.g. complaints, master data maintenance, etc.) and continuously review existing processes for further improvements/optimization;

¹Ù)     Provide training to other departments to improve execution of SOP and develop new SOPs where needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS

1.       Education (degree): University level with a Bachelor

2.       Experience:

°¡)     Around 7 – 10 years of solid Supply Chain experience

³ª)     Strong experience in FMCG (preferably in food/drinks), working with A-brands and working in an international environment.

´Ù)     Knows and understands the supply chain dynamics in Korea.

3.       Language: Fluent in Korean and English (both verbally and in writing)
