The Impact You’ll Make

At Lam, as an EH&S Engineer, you're instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental safety programs and policies. Ensuring compliance with regulations, you'll perform safety inspections, conduct trainings, and oversee hazardous waste vendors and processes. Your expertise spans to life safety, workplace ergonomics, and monitoring industrial health compliance. Acting as a liaison with regulatory agencies you'll not only stay current but also reinforce Lam's commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

What You’ll Do

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

This position will include, but is not limited to, roles and responsibilities assisting the following activities;

• Responsible for not only Serous Accident Punishment Act(중대재해처벌법) but also health management in the plants.
• Provide medical treatment service and consulting to employees
• Manage Health and Safety promotion activities
• Maintain regulatory compliance for Environmental, Health and Safety, including KOSHA and regulatory report.
• Responsible for ISO management system
• Establish/Maintain EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
• Conduct Occupational hygiene survey
• Conduct Ergonomics survey
• Conduct Risk assessment
• Internal EHS audit
• Liaise with government agencies on EHS issues
• Special projects as required

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 8-12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent work experience.
• Have both qualified license of  Nurse and Industrial hygiene.
• Experience of Serious Accident Punishment Act. management.
• Provide medical treatment and service to employees.
• Operated health and safety promotion activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth Knowledge of EHS regulations
• Over 5 years total experience in EHS
• Qualifications to appoint a legal health manager(보건관리자)
• Ability to implement EHS programs and achieve measurable goals
• Excellent and effective English communication skills
• Proven excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and drive results
• Proficiency at MS office, especially Excel, and PowerPoint
• Manage ISO 14001/45001 experience (optional)

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
