1. Main Purpose of the Job
Grow the total alcohol and beer category sales leveraging focused research, established best practices and the cultivation of new initiatives through retailer partnership and thought leadership. Develop insights based on macro, retailer, and shopper trends. Combine these insights with the retailer¡¯s and ABI¡¯s category strategies to identify logical and executional tactics: assortment, shelf flow, planogram. Develop the link from strategy to execution. Measure and share the tactics across the retailer and ABI to monitor and improve performance.

Main characteristics: (Challenges)
Develop long-term, strategic relationships with our retailers. This should allow ABI to pilot and implement innovative initiatives that grow ABI and the total alcohol & beer category. Final goal is to develop to category captaincy and trusted advisory relationship with our customers.

3. Accountabilities
(1) Understanding of IH(In-Home) retail business incl. liquor & beer environment
(2) Provide category review based on household data, POS/sell-out data, and shopper panel data
(3) Define category segmentation, shopper decision tree and total store transit paths, based on data sources
(3) Set the category vision linked to the ABI portfolio strategy, while making assortment and space recommendations
(4) Use of space planning tools to create planograms
(5) Develop assortment tool and On Shelf Availability tracking to monitor our performance vs pre-defined KPIs
