우리 팀(프로젝트)을 소개합니다. 

지난 2021년부터 크래프톤은 우리가 가진 게임 제작역량을 새롭게 확장할 수 있는 영역이자 새로운 도전을 지속할 분야로 딥러닝을 제시하고 해당 분야 연구에 집중하고 있으며, 본격화를 위하여 핵심 인재 영입 등 적극적인 투자를 진행하고 있습니다.

Since 2021, Krafton has been presenting and researching deep learning as an area where we will continue to make new challenges and expand our new game production capabilities. To gain momentum, we are making active investments through recruiting essential talent. 

[Deep Learning 본부 비전 / Vision of the Deep Learning Division]

크래프톤 Deep Learning 본부는 사내외 여러 분야와 협업 하여 다양한 문제에 대한 AI 솔루션을 제공하며, 자체 딥러닝 기술 연구를 통해 우리만의 서비스를 개발합니다. 그 방향성은 크게 두가지입니다.

• 게임 제작에 도움이 될 수 있는 딥러닝 기술 개발을 통한 게임 제작 효율성 및 보편성 증대
• 딥러닝 기술 기반 Virtual Freind 개발 및 이를 게임 내/외적으로 다양한 어플리케이션으로 적용

Krafton’s Deep Learning Division, based on AI research, aims to develop our own unique services while collaborating with in-house and external teams of various domains to provide AI solutions that can solve a variety of problems. Our two main goals are as follows:

• Improve game production efficiency and universality by developing deep learning technologies useful for game production
• Develop a virtual friend and apply it to diverse areas inside/outside our games using deep learning technology

[R&D]

Deep Learning 본부에서는 게임 제작 및 Virtual Freind 개발에 필요한 NLP, Vision & Animation, STT/TTS, RL 등의 딥러닝 기술을 연구 개발 중입니다. 또한, 이를 효과적으로 아우를 수 있는 초거대모델/경량화모델 및 각각의 요소 기술들을 자유롭게 조합하며 multimodal 모델 연구도 진행하고 있습니다.

The Deep Learning Division engages in deep learning R&D of technologies necessary for game production and virtual friend development, such as NLP, Vision & Animation, STT/TTS, and RL technologies. We are also researching foundation or lightweight models that can effectively cover all areas, as well as multimodal models where each of these technologies can be freely combined.

Deep Learning 본부 인원들은 본인 분야에만 묶여있지 않고 서로 다른 프로젝트 팀원들과 교류 및 협업하여 다양한 문제에 창의적인 아이디어를 제시 할 수 있습니다. 다양한 문화적 배경을 가진 인원들이 모여 팀을 이루고 있으며 활발한 소통을 위해 언어적 장벽을 해소해줄 수 있는 방법들을 적극 지원하고 있습니다.

Members in the Deep Learning Division are not tied to their own tasks but are encouraged to actively communicate and collaborate with members from different projects to share creative ideas for various problems. We have members of various cultural backgrounds and are providing all the necessary support to lower any language barrier for active communication.

이런 경험을 가진 분과 함께 성장하고 싶습니다! (필수요건)

• 연구 프로젝트 진행: ML 관련 모든 분야의 전공 석사 졸업 혹은 박사 재학 이상; ML 관련 연구 및 논문 작성 경험자 (이력서 작성 시, 논문 및 학회 게재 필수)
• 알고리즘 디자인 및 개발: ML 관련 모든 분야의 전공 학사 재학 이상
• Research projects: Master's degree or Ph.D.(Including Ph.D candidate) in all fields related to ML; Experience in ML-related research and papers (Write down the name of papers and academic conferences in resume)
• Development projects: Undergraduate or higher education in all fields related to ML

• AI 연관 탑티어 학회에서의 발표 또는 수상 경험 (ICML, NeurlPS, ICLR, AAAI, IJCAI 등)  
• 연구를 제안하고 수행하는 일을 주도적으로 하실 수 있는 분
• 딥러닝 알고리즘 디자인 및 개발을 주도적으로 하실 수 있는 분
• 팀원들과의 유연한 소통을 통해 시너지를 발휘하실 수 있는 분
• Have experience presenting or receiving awards at top-tier AI-related conferences. (ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, AAAI, IJCAI, etc.)
• Be able to take the initiative in proposing and conducting research
• Be able to take the initiative in designing and developing deep learning algorithms
• Be able to create synergy through smooth communication with team members
