2. Position Summary
- Responsible for field application, system design and product proposal, customer trouble cause investigation, improvement plan proposal, and customer product development/improvement.
- Provides sales, marketing and design direction in support of the Division’s growth initiative. May also manage specific Division key accounts.
3. Essential Functions
- Supports field sales, distributors and customers as required to maintain premier customer experience position.
- Provides technical expertise on product and application to distributors and customers.
- Assists design and manufacturing in the development of new and/or revised product according to customer requirements.
- Provides timely reports summarizing findings on a given product, project or territory.
- Keeps management aware of changes which would affect the distribution of OOOO products.
- Provide technical training of customers and distributors in Division products.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and their activity in the marketplace and provides reports on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Investigates market needs for innovative products and communicates them to Engineering for product development.
- Conduct appropriate investigations and tests to identify and solve problems that occur while customers are using the product, and consult with the team.
4. Qualifications
- Bachelor`s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering and related or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 5-10 years of experience in Filtration, Separation and Purification industries.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals and food and beverage manufacturing process and systems.
- Ability to plan tests and analyze results for product proposals for new customer expansion and responses to customer issues.
- Preferred experience with Single Use Technology in Bioprocesses and products in Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical industries
- Ability to communicate effectively and make effective and persuasive presentations to customers in English, preferred written/verbal communication skills in English.
- Domestic and foreign travel as needed
