The major function of this position is to act as a key interface between company category team and local strategic suppliers, responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies through partnering with Korea supply base for company. 

1.   Work with Global Procurement and business stakeholder to support business priorities.
2.   Manage sourcing process, commercial negotiations and contracting, to generate cost savings and process efficiencies.
3.   Lead sourcing projects with clear project objectives and project plan, adjust quickly and attains goals when environment changes.  
4.   Support Commodity Management Strategies.

5.   Develop, coordinate and implement quality strategies required for the continuous improvement of the supply base.

6.   Managing interface to suppliers and internal customers

7.   Proactively identifying, assessing, and controlling supply chain risk

8.   Develop and manage sourcing team in Korea

9.   Ensure the appropriate Implementation of Company Procedures and Policies.

-Engineering (BS) degree or equivalent, MBA is preferred ; At least 10 years of sourcing management experience with solid capability of leading people.

-Good understanding of automotive quality style

-Fluent in English & Korean, understanding Chinese is a plus.
-Hands-on fantastic leadership expertise in sourcing/procurement position

-Project management skills and supplier management skills

- Ability to effectively and professionally interact with all organizational levels within organization and supply base.
- Proficient personal computer skills including email, database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as die casting, machining, heat treating, assembly and paint.
- Occasionally required to work overtime, including meeting attendance, outside of regular hours without special compensation
- Ability to travel 30% or greater
