Job Overview:
As the Product and Sales Planner, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our product lines and sales strategies. This position involves analyzing market trends, forecasting demand, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer needs while maximizing profitability.
Key Accountabilities
Management of Product & Logistics
Determine the appropriate/best mix and assortment of product lines for new season buying and new store openings.
Manage estimates for new collections by analyzing product performance to maximize sales.
Oversee DC and store replenishment using the SRS system, following product assortment and store levels.
Handle specific requirements, including legal implications, when importing new product categories to adapt to the local business environment and needs (e.g., sunglasses, straps, batteries, Flik Flak, collateral, etc.).
Manage product flow from launch to phase-out within set deadlines.
Develop and manage systems and infrastructure to ensure accurate referencing, tracking, pricing, and auditing.
Oversee auditing practices, local inventory, and HQ errors.
Operations
Manage the product cycle, including planning (estimation, forecasting), launch, phase-out, and destruction.
Oversee overall logistics operations, including ordering and stock-in, as well as managing current inventory efficiency, warehousing, slow-moving stock management, new defective reports, and returns to HQ with physical inspection.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales performance by store, reference, product line and collection, stock, and HQ shipments.
Handle documentation, including order requests, data updates for SRS store stock replenishment, new products, and allocation preparation.
Track inventory levels to avoid overstock and shortages by communicating with HQ.
Support the retail and duty-free (DF) teams with store requests.
Support the customer care (CC) team and e-commerce for online sales and stock.
Request POS stock transfers.
Maintain slow-moving inventory and outlet product lists.
Support (Ad-hoc)
Support the retail and marketing teams with store operational tasks (retail activation, events, store openings and closings, etc.).
Qualifications
Bachelor¡¯s degree
Preferred experience in the retail, consumer, and luxury goods industries.
Preferred experience in product and planning management, SCM, and logistics management.
Over 6years of industry and domain experience
Highly proficient in SAP or similar level of ERP, and Retail POS systems
Highly proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications
Highly proficient in English
