The role of a SoC Design Manager involves identifying requirements, product specifications, and conducting preliminary reviews of necessary technologies during the initial stages of SoC project development. Additionally, the manager reconfigures and optimizes IP to align with the chip’s functions, implements chip architecture to meet SoC design requirements, and integrates IP up to the chip top-level synthesis. They oversee the entire process from design to layout, ensuring the designs can be fabricated into chips.
