Responsibilities: 

Strategic Leadership;Provide strategic direction and leadership for business engagement and policy advocacy efforts, aligning them with organizational goals and priorities.

  1. Ensures effective design and implementation of the Strategic Plan, and engaging other relevant Network offices as needed.
  2. Set overall directions for impactful conservation efforts, coherent with the Korea, and the Global Conservation Programme. 
  3. Ensures effective monitoring, evaluation and adaptive management of the  strategic plan, providing real-time information for programme managers, members and other key stakeholders.
  4. Develop holistic action plans that prioritize key issues such as biodiversity conservation, nature restoration, and mitigation and adaptation strategies for climate change impacts
  5. Implement and oversee the execution of these plans, ensuring measurable impact and adaptation as needed

 Corporate Partnerships;Develop and nurture partnerships with businesses, industry associations, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable practices, drive innovation, and mobilize resources for conservation initiatives.Develop and implement strategies to identify, cultivate, and maintain corporate partnerships aligned with organizational goals.

  1. Act as the primary point of contact for corporate partners, ensuring excellent communication and relationship management.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized partnership proposals and agreements that meet the needs of both parties.
  3. Drive the execution of partnership programs and initiatives, overseeing all aspects from planning to implementation and evaluation.
  4. Monitor and analyze partnership performance metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to optimize partnerships and programs.
  6. Prepare regular reports and updates for stakeholders on partnership activities, outcomes, and impact.
  7. Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and meetings to promote partnerships and expand the network.

Advocacy and Corporate Partnership Leadership;

  1. Develop programs/activities to influence policies and foster corporate partnerships for conservation, biodiversity, and sustainable development.
  2. Serve as the primary contact to create and lead advocacy programs and campaigns
  3. Lead and create process improvements for departments across the organization to collaborate and engage advocates

Strategic Collaboration:

  1. Build a new externally-focused stakeholder strategy, and strengthen the management of key relationships in line with the organization's aim. 
  2. Maintain close relationships with top level manager/executives in various sectors including corporates, government, and NGO.

Qualifications: 
  1. Minimum of 15 years of professional experience includes 3~5years of working at the executive level in business sustainability, environmental policy, corporate social responsibility, or related fields, with proven management and leadership abilities.
  2. Deep understanding of environmental issues, conservation challenges, and sustainable development goals, as well as the role of businesses and governments in addressing them.
  3. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective advocacy and engagement strategies.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, policymakers, and civil society organizations.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and interdisciplinary team environment, with a commitment to our values of Courage, Integrity, Respect & Collaboration
    1. Fluency in English.
