Country Managing Director  
  • Strategic Leadership

    • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the responsible country, ensuring alignment with the company¡¯s goals and objectives.
    • Drive revenue generation, growth initiatives, and market expansion in the country
    • Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks specific to the country.

     Operational Management

    • Oversee all aspects of operations including all service lines in the country; not only CRO operations and delivery but also Laboratory and SMO business in the country.
    • Ensure High-quality services, adherence to timelines, and maximization of client satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with global functions to optimize operational processes, enhance efficiency, and improve service quality for the country

     Commercial Support and Client Relationship Management

    • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to explore and secure New Business opportunities for the country
    • Guide local commercial teams to develop and maintain the local sales market. Review and approve proposals for new business opportunities based on the organisation¡¯s operational capabilities and ensure pricing meets profitability targets.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the country, ensuring a deep understanding of key clients¡¯ needs and delivering customer satisfaction.
    • Act as a Trusted Advisor for key clients, offering strategic insights, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and proactively addressing challenges.

     Financial Oversight

    • Provide financial leadership by overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and managing P&L performance for the country.
    • Ensure that financial targets are met or exceeded, driving profitability and sustainable growth within the country.

     Team Leadership and Development

    • Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse and high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration in the country.
    • Provide mentorship and support to team members, encouraging their professional growth and development.
    • Set clear performance goals, conduct evaluations, and recognise exceptional contributions.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • ¤ýGraduate in a clinical, pharmacy or life sciences-related field. 
  • ¤ýProven experience in a managerial position(s) at least Director level or above in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO industry. 
  • ¤ýProven records of strategic and proactive thinking, strong scientific and analytical skills, decisiveness, and the ability to perform as a respectful leader. 
  • ¤ýStrong interpersonal and customer relationship skills. 
  • ¤ýStrong communication and negotiation skills in both Korean and English.
