JOB SUMMARY
Working under moderate supervision, develops business and negotiates the leasing and marketing of retail real estate properties for clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consults clients to tend to their needs for opening new retail stores, re-contracting or restructuring.
- Grasps needs of landlords/tenants and provides them with pertinent information on leasing availability, current market conditions, and property values.
- Secures new and expanded business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and selling additional CBRE services to current client base.
- Prepares proposals for new project pitching and performs lease marketing after winning a mandate.
- Supports in accompanying prospective clients to property sites to discuss property features, leasing rates, and terms.
- Prepares Request for Proposals and reviews RFP responses. Analyzes data and prepares real estate reports on average asking rents, tenants in the market, historical data and market comparisons.
- Conducts, synthesizes, and presents research on industry best practices, benchmarks, and other issues of concern to management, clients and/or stakeholders; prepares recommendations and/or alternate courses of action as options.
- Supports MD planning and reviews lease agreements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
- Proficient in English preferred
- Excelled report writing skills, and ability to utilize Microsoft Office
- Positive, enquiring, collaborative team player. Highly organized, with rigorous attention to detail
