Located in Seoul, South Korea, this key role will work with the Head of Hotels & Hospitality APAC and Head of Capital Markets South Korea to develop and implement a strategy to expand and grow the Hotels business in South Korea, includes identifying client objectives and leading transactions and advisory mandates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the hotel expert in South Korea.
- To assist the Head of Hotels & Hospitality APAC and Head of Capital Markets Soth Korea in planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the business plan objectives in South Korea;
- Add specialist hotel expertise, knowledge, and skills required for the delivery of professional and client centric service, and to facilitate innovation and achievement of the Hotel objectives
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to source new client listings and mandates
- Promote CBRE when dealing with clients and to be aware of cross selling opportunities within the business;
- To develop and maintain close relationships with internal and external clients; and be recognized as a specialist in the delivery of Investment Properties services to clients;
- Support business development and pitches with the wider team.
- Produce well-written and persuasive sections of proposal documents and marketing materials.
- Conduct field visits of properties and submarkets.
- Conduct investment analysis for hotel properties utilizing various methodologies such as Discounted Cash Flow, Direct Capitalization, Room Revenue Multiplier and Sales Comparison approaches.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience leading transactions with deep understanding of the deal processes from preparation to closing.
- Demonstrated sales track record within the Hotels industry.
- Experience in the property industry; specific knowledge of Hotels.
- Good commercial acumen to understand the industry, investor and CBRE network.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate and present with confidence, self-belief, and impact; influence others verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of Hotel financial statements, as well as real estate valuation terms and concepts, strongly preferred.
- The ability to maintain and update industry knowledge for use in project-related work and professionally represent the firm as international experts in hospitality.
