An exceptional and exciting career opportunity is currently available for a S. Korea Auto/Foam Account Manager; reporting to Regional Sales Leader, responsible for managing and growing sales of automotive refrigerant products at OEM and aftermarket customers located across S. Korea, plus PU&XPS foam sales. Honeywell is a leading supplier to transportation OEMs around the world and many of the OEM customers in S. Korea in the territory are already customers of Honeywell in other places around the world (ie GM, Hyundai, etc).
The South Korea Auto/Foam Account Manager will be responsible for serving existing customers and developing new accounts with headquarters or assembly operations in S. Korea. The Sales revenue in this territory today is approximately $54M.
Job Responsibilities:
-Leads RFQ response/proposal development for car OEM bids. Negotiates at the Buyer level for 134a and 1234yf supply for factory fill and OEM aftersales product in the territory.
-Is the global account lead for Hyundai/KIA
-Owns the key relationships at car OEM accounts including procurement, engineering and operations.
-Drive PU&XPS foam business in Appliance, Construction, LNG application.
-Knowledgeable about bulk storage tank operations, telemetry systems, existing supply chain process, import duties, regulations, etc. Partners with supply chain to insure 100% on time deliveries.
-Maintains close relationships with and works through key distributor partners to effectively facilitate deliveries of automotive refrigerant products in the following cases: (1) bulk deliveries and (2) cylinders.
-Contributes to the aftermarket channel approach in S. Korea.
-Comfortable working with legal documents.
-Works closely with all functions (legal, supply chain, logistics, engineering, technology, etc)
-Interacts with and coordinates activities with peer Account Managers who are calling on the same account in other regions.
-Builds a sales pipeline, works on NPI programs in the territory.
-Works closely with tech service and technology team
-Provides accurate AOP and monthly forecasts for the territory
-Competent on IP and regulatory topics and can present these to customers
-Assists in collection of invoices as needed
Qualifications
-Ability to link strategies to financial results
-Excellent business development and relationship building skills
-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
-Excellent spoken and written English is essential
-Operates with a structured work process including account planning, call reporting and global coordination/communication across the internal teams
-Experienced at making presentations to large groups of people
-Proven ability to lead projects and teams that successfully achieve milestones and complete deliverables
-Track record of working closely with technology and marketing to support successful new product launches.
-Ability to understand and support the supply chain function to ensure customer delivery satisfaction. Assists with quality issues.
-Ability to take actions to drive and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
-Creative yet pragmatic problem solver
