[Position] Director of Hotel Sales(12년 이상)

INPSIRE Entertainment Resort의 Hotel Sales team에서 Hotel 객실 판매, 특히 OTA채널(Account)과 관련된 각종 Sales Activity를 맡아 주실 활동적인 Sales Manager분을 채용합니다. 호텔 부문(객실) Sales 경력을 포함하여, 복합 리조트 등에서 OTA 채널 을 통한 객실 판매 및 어카운트 관리 업무 경력 최소 7년 이상 경력자(리더십 포지션 경력자 우대)에 한하여 지원 가능하며 5성급 호텔 또는 글로벌 호텔 브랜드 출신 경력자는 우대합니다.
필수 사항은 아니지만 업무상 Guest를 포함한 다양한 국적의 Stakeholder와의 Global Communication이 빈번한 포지션으로 Fluent 하지 않더라도 자신의 의견을 명확하고 자신 있게 소통하실 수 있는 분을 선호합니다. 자세한 사항은 아래의 Job Description을 참고해 주시기 바랍니다.

[Position Summary]

The Hotel Sales Manager reports to Director of Hotel Sales. Hotel Sales Manager will support Director of Hotel Sales on develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals, ensuring effective implementation, monitoring, and attainment of sales targets. You will be responsible for direct client engagement, selling hotel rooms and services to meet the hotel’s revenue objectives in alignment with the business plan. Additionally, this role will play as key person focusing on the FIT and OTA segments and Revenue Management , contributing to the overall growth and success of the hotel’s revenue streams.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

Business Impact/Results:

• Report all day-to-day activities to Director of Hotel Sales
• Developing and implement promotional hotel packages with resort facilities and establish selling strategy through relevant digital and social media channels
• Collaborating with the operations, food and beverage, execute promotions and campaigns targeting hotel customers to drive an increase in Resort revenue.
• Working in cooperation with Property Revenue Management to ensure accurate offer loading and verify that advertising targeting is accurately aimed at relevant consumer groups
• Assist in coordinating photoshoots between the hotel, advertising agencies, and local on-site marketing teams for advertising, data, and publicity purposes
• Manage hotel booking engine and Online Travel Agent by uploading all the rates, packages, promotion, and connectivity.

Communication:

• Keep close communication with other departments to ensure seamless Package products and services.
• Address any operational challenges within the Hotel Sales Team through commitment, drive, energy, and a positive approach.
• Drive sales and understand current consumer trends & demands.
• Demonstrate and promote Mohegan core values to all colleagues.

Analyzing & Reporting on Sales and Financial Data:

• Analyzes market information by using sales systems and implements strategy to achieve property’s financial room goals.
• Executes exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer and ensuring their satisfaction before and during their program/event.
• Serves the customer by understanding their needs and recommending the appropriate features and services that best meet their needs and exceed their expectations, while building a relationship and loyalty to the company.
• Gains understanding of the property’s primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solution both prior to, and during the program/event.

Applied Knowledge & Specialist Skills:

• Apply the latest industry standards to ensure the offerings we provide are appealing in the context of the external marketplace.
• Align the Resort strategic plans and in conjunction with the teams, assist the management team with a short-term development plan for the incorporating sales trends and expectations, customer feedback, and relevant financial return expectations.
• Participates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
• Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence)

Education and Qualifications:

• Preferred OTA channel experience but not essential.
• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or a related field recommended.
• Minimum 5 years of upscale luxury hotel experience in Sales & Marketing or related professional area required.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
• Great organizational skills, time management & multi-tasking skills.
• Good command of knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of the property and local areas and destinations.
• Possess a high level of maturity to deal with the most discriminating guest requests and requirements.
• Good English writing and speaking is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• - Familiarity with hotel revenue management systems.
• - Experience in luxury hospitality or integrated resorts.
• - Knowledge of Korean business and cultural practices.

[Minimum Education and Qualification]

• Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field
• At least 7 years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting with direct supervisory experience over a sales team, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Experience in opening hotel/resort and understanding IR business are highly preferable
• Must speak local language and English at intermediate level
• Other languages preferred(Japanese/Chinese)
• This position is based at INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in Incheon, South Korea. Occasional travel may be required for conferences, trade shows, or client engagements.

• High tolerance to long computer screen time
• Willing to work on various shifts and flexible hours when required
