As a Technical Sourcing Specialist for Air Liquide Korea, you will be the main representative of the procurement team in Korea and will drive the advancement of key procurement initiatives such as strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and procurement risk management.

1) Execute the end to end sourcing process to ensure delivery of business plans
2) Partner with internal stakeholders to assess business needs and develop sourcing plans and strategies
3) Manage supplier risk and relationships and build strategic supplier relationships
4) Update catalogue items and prepare purchase orders through the purchasing order system

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Sourcing:

• Execute sourcing process to ensure delivery of business plans

• Partnering with stakeholders to understand their needs

• Import operation from overseas suppliers and communication with stakeholders

• Spend data analysis for finding opportunities

• Conduct RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ etc.)  and contract negotiation 

• Co-work with APAC procurement category management team

Purchasing:

• Utilize the purchasing order system and update catalogue items

• Perform manual purchasing transactions in the importing operation

• Support for appropriate processes and payments

Supplier Relationship Management:

• Enhance supplier relationship for accelerating AL business

• Implementation of new supplier validation in accordance with procedure

• Perform evaluation taking into account the risk of technical, safety, finance, and CSR

Are you a MATCH?

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or Supply chain required

• Experience in manufacturing industry required

• Business level of English and fluency in Korean required 

• Strong communication skills 

• Experience using Oracle/ Coupa preferred but not mandatory
