Key tasks of the Job:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations, and implementing effective tax strategies. The tax and treasury supervisor will work closely with various departments to optimize tax processes and provide expert guidance on tax matters.
1. Corporate Tax Accounting: Develop and maintain a Full Year Tax Projection Tool with the assistance of tax experts to ensure accurate deferred tax accounting procedures.
2. Depreciation and Amortization: Improve the current process by implementing individual asset depreciation calculations to manage tax reserve balances effectively. Prepare for potential adjustments in industry-specific useful life regulations.
3. Dividend Income Tax: Establish procedures for calculating dividend income tax, ensuring compliance in advance as the company has not previously issued dividends to shareholders.
4. VAT Reporting Efficiency: Enhance the efficiency of VAT reporting by developing systems and minimizing manual processes.
5. Tax Optimization: Explore and implement strategies to reduce corporate taxes and other tax liabilities, including tax credits, R&D investments, employment incentives, and asset acquisition timing.
6. Enhance cash flow by implementing effective tax reduction
Specifics for the Job:
1. Required knowledge, education, and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or equivalent certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or a related role
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power point) and SAP
Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
