Accounting Department Overview

    Due to expansion and growth, Dwight Seoul seeks a highly organized and qualified full time Junior Accountant to join an already rich and thriving Accounting department. The ideal candidate has an understanding of financial knowledge and business practices with a great potential to learn and grow as a finance professional in an international school environment.  The ideal candidate is also a good team player working collaboratively within a team and able to work with external customers as well as other departments in school.


    Junior Accountant 

    Key Roles and Responsibilities

    This position is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting

    and banking transactions and assists the Finance Controller in all accounting matters.

    Specific Roles and Responsibilities

    ¡Ü Be responsible for accounts payable

    ¡Ü Be responsible for accounts receivable

    ¡Ü Be responsible for fixed assets accounting

    ¡Ü Manage school credit cards

    ¡Ü Assist with monthly/annual financial closings

    ¡Ü Assist with internal/external audits

    ¡Ü Correspond to various ad-hoc requests

    Qualifications & Experience

    Bachelor¡¯s degree with AICPA certificate is preferred

    Fluency in both spoken and written Korean and English is required
