[Position]

(Senior) Lab Technician/Manager

 

[Required Qualifications]

• 5 to 10 years of professional electronics/electrical hardware either manufacturing,

development, or testing experience.

• Associate's degree in mechatronics engineering, electronics, medical (device) engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline from a reputed academic institution.

o Strong electrical and electronic engineering fundamentals & practices

o Good understanding about mechanical parts, structures, and mechanisms

• Strong ability to build, test and analyze electronic devices in association with SOP, work instructions, etc.

• Very good at suggesting solutions and improvements based on analyzing test results

• Hands-on experience assembling and building electronics for various consumer and IT devices

• Good ability to design test equipment, jigs, and fixtures including applying, using &

managing them

• Positive, can-do attitude with a high degree of ownership and self-motivation to drive change

• Strong collaboration skills across teams, geographies, and functions

• Good at written and speaking English

 

[Preferred Qualifications]

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Device building, manufacturing and testing experiences in imaging devices such as smartphones, digital camera, CCTV, etc.

• Strong technical experience & skills for assembling & reworking electronic PCBAs & devices

• Great at reporting & documentation according to test results, (re)working instructions, etc.

• Experienced in and open mind to international & interracial work collaboration

• Strong in written and speaking English

 

[role]

• Work directly with the Head of Hardware, hardware engineering team, and product teams

• Champion for building and improving machineries including electronics

• Build and test new products and platforms that can scale with the business growth

• Design, purchase, modify, apply, improve, and manage test equipment, jigs, fixtures and so on 

as well as handling with annual calibration for measuring instruments

• Operate HW engineering lab in accordance with internal & external laboratory safety rules, regulations, laws, etc.
