[Position] 

 Senior Electronical/Electronics Engineer

 

[Required Qualifications]

- 12+ years of professional electronics/electrical hardware development experience 

- Bachelor`s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, or related technical discipline from a reputed academic institution. 

o Strong electrical and electronic engineering fundamentals & principles 

- Strong ability to architect, revise, and improve new electronics device platforms (with processors, microcontrollers, wired/wireless communication, batteries, sensors, power management circuits etc.) 

- Hands-on experience developing electronics for various consumer and IT devices 

- Strong ability to communicate complex technical and management information clearly and concisely 

- Positive, can-do attitude with a high degree of ownership and self-motivation to drive change 

- Strong collaboration skills across teams, geographies, and functions 

- Strong in written and speaking English 

 

[Preferred Qualifications] 

- Master’s degree preferred. 

- Device development experiences in imaging devices such as smartphones, digital camera, CCTV, etc. 

with opto-electronic knowledges strongly preferred. 

- Strong technical experience in some of the following areas: 

- Define design directions and create system block diagram 

- Sourcing and verifying components and vendors 

- Deep insights about power & signal integrities 

- Design analog and digital circuits and create circuit simulation Internal Communication: For internal & partner use only. 

- Create & review schematic designs and PCB layouts 

- Lead component selections and validation process 

- Implement embedded micro-processor-based system, digital sensors, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth embedded sensors 

- Create detailed requirements/specifications including firmware specifications 

- Create prototype components, circuits and perform bench testing/ feasibility analysis 

- Leads PCBA batch fabrication and inspection 

- Work closely with other functions: system/product engineer, firmware developer, mechanical engineer etc. for product integration, validation, and testing 

- Create test protocols for verification testing, and identify/solve issues 

- Implement design solutions to meet UL/IEC requirements for EMC, ESD etc. 

- Professional development experiences in many kinds of sensors, e.g., ToF, thermophile, gas, etc. will be preferred. 

- Entrepreneurial experience in a high growth technology focused company or startup 

- Great at documentation according to requirements and regulations 

- Experienced in and open mind to international & interracial work collaboration 

 

[role] 

- Work directly with the Head of Hardware, hardware engineering team, and product teams 

- Design new products and platforms that can scale with the business growth  

- Build the forward-looking vision and lead the effort to understand and drive requirements with hardware/software teams. 

- Coordinate with product development teams to improve current models and to build new models 

- Champion for quality in electrical, electronic design, processes, and culture
