DuPont has a promising material and process licensing business in this rapidly growing market. The OLED Synthetic Chemist, as a member of the Electronic & Industrial in DuPont located in Hwaseong(Dongtan), Korea. DuPont OLEDs is seeking a highly motivated synthetic chemist with specialist experience in heterocycle and/or aromatic small molecule synthesis. OLED Synthetic Chemist is the key role in development of new materials and discovery of new synthetic route of OLED Materials required for mobile and various high-end displays including flexible and transparent devices.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for synthesis of OLED materials
Must have a strong knowledge in organic chemistry.
Coordinate all design of New Materials.
Quick learner for the new chemical reactions.
Resolve technology challenges through focused scientific methodology, multidisciplinary approach and innovative thinking.
Create and secure intellectual property for DuPont.
Promote strong communication with all team members.
Ensure implementation of constructability concepts.
Identify and take corrective action (with appropriate approval) to ensure the project goals for cycle-time, cost, and quality are met.
Required Qualifications:
Master Degree or Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry
Preparation and characterization of novel materials using multi-step organic synthesis methods.
Experienced Synthetic Chemist bearing various synthetic skills
Preferred Qualifications:
2~3 years of experience at industrial company.
Verbal and written communication skills including technical writing and presentation skills in English & Korean.
Communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to build networks will be essential to foster team success and accomplishment of project objectives.
Knowledge and ability to handle analysis equipments; NMR, HPLC, LCMS, UV/PL.
Education:
Master or Ph.D who has covered Advanced Organic chemistry course in Chemistry.
Master or Ph.D who has covered Basic Organic chemistry course during bachelor¡¯s degree in Chemistry
