Manager, Buying & Trading, eCommerce
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Create the optimal country level buying/trading plan by own.com and emarketplace for the designated category by working closely with the internal/external team to drive sales performance and deploy key brand concepts in the emarketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all buying activities related to responsible category or brand and range selection during Sign off and Trade meetings every season for own.com and emarket place
Collaborates with retail and brand teams and group function partners to position key stories and product, in line with on-line business and company¡¯s strategic vision
Responsible for ranging product category breadth and assortment by eCom channel to deliver financial and range efficiency targets (i.e. Buying budget, Sell-thru, category shares, Inventory Days Lasting and Net margin targets)
Review and analyze trading results overseeing daily sell-thru results, inventory status and business trend, in order to identify sales opportunities
Handover range and forecasts at agreed timelines to ensure timely Placing Orders (Pre-Season)
Management of phasing & giving timely signals to Demand planning to pursue replenishment/re-order of fast-moving articles (In-Season)
Supports full-price & off-price decisioning to maximize sell-thru & inventory usage
Manage sales events for assigned channel by supporting preparation to ensure smooth operation of the events
Communicate with Asia Pacific stakeholders (Range Architecture, Assortment Planning) for own.com and emarket assortment plan
Range analysis and Asia Pacific report for Country Strategic Input, Supply Network Planning, range sign off and buy review
Review and analysis trading results overseeing daily digital sales and monitor consumer responses by tracking digital KPIs such as traffic, orders, conversion rate, Average Order Value and returns
Monitoring competitor¡¯s ecommerce price status and market trend for respective categories

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
Fluent in English and Korean
Advanced knowledge of Korea eCommerce landscape
Strong analytical skills
Structured, organized and process orientated
Attention to detail as error in analysis will have crucial impact to business
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
Merchandising & Trading experience: Minimum 6 years
E-commerce experience is preferred.
