Senior Emission Compliance |
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities: • Certification Management • New emission certification • Modification certification (Emission Related Components change) • Modification report (OEM, Importer, Machine change) • Monthly report of Sales volume • Report of parts defect related to failure parts (quarterly and annually) • COP management and report • In-service monitoring management and report • Management of regulatory affairs (Korea and Global) • Lobbying legislation and standardization • Sales support related to Importers/Dealers/OEMs • Logistics support related to complete products and service parts • Communication support related to Volvo Penta (e.g. Financial control, expense, etc.) • Conducting training and technical advisory services in the field of homologation. • Cooperation with VCE-Korea about emission certification of Volvo Engines

Key Responsibilities • Certification Management: Handle new and modification emission certifications, compliance reporting, facility certification, and in-service monitoring. • Regulatory Affairs: Monitor and engage with regulatory bodies, participate in legislation and standardization activities, and ensure adherence to Korea and global regulations. • Sales & Logistics Support: Assist Sales, importers, dealers, and OEMs with compliance-related matters. • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between Volvo Penta and key stakeholders, including customers, authorities, and internal teams. • Training & Advisory: Conduct training and provide technical advisory services in homologation and regulatory compliance.
Key Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor¡¯s degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred. • 5+ years of experience in compliance, certification, or a related field. Engine compliance related activities are preferred. • Strong understanding of regulations, homologation processes, and compliance requirements in Korea and globally. • Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to engage with government authorities, test labs, and internal stakeholders. • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to interpret laws and regulations effectively. • Fluent in English and Korean (written and spoken). • Experience in construction, agricultural machinery, heavy industries, or industrial equipment is preferred. • Ability to work independently and in a multinational matrix organization. • Willingness to travel when required. |
