As a part of the Strategic Deals team within Industry Solutions Delivery, the Client Delivery Partner (CDP) is responsible for leading large, transformational deals from origination through delivery stabilization.  The CDP is a customer facing executive, leading a matrixed, cross-functional team through deal and delivery execution, simplifying complexity, and marshalling the full capabilities of Microsoft to deliver differentiated customer value and ensure Microsoft profitability.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs)    
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field AND 12+ years solution delivery, customer-facing consulting, or digital transformation experience
OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field AND 10+ years solution delivery, customer-facing consulting, or digital transformation experience
OR equivalent experience
6+ years leadership experience in a matrixed environment
 
Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field AND 15+ years solution delivery, customer-facing consulting, or digital transformation experience
OR equivalent experience
12+ years relevant work experience in solution delivery
5+ years relevant work experience within Telecommunications industry & financial management (e.g Profit and loss)

The position requires proficiency in Korean and English at an advance level.

 

 

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading large transformational deals from origination through delivery stabilization and this includes leading cross-functional, cross-organizational deal teams through Strategic Deal pursuit, negotiation, and close phases; initiating and stabilizing delivery; and providing customer facing executive leadership throughout these deal and delivery stages. 
 - You will be the main counterpart for the customer and work in unison with the customer executive sponsor to originate, shape and deliver customer business value. 
 - As the appointed leader for a Strategic Deal, you direct the cross-functional Microsoft team, lead the development of deal content and structure (i.e. what the deal should achieve for the customer), define and customer tangible and intangible business outcomes and structure the deal pillars.
 - You architect the proposal, including commercial proposition(s) and oversee the scoping of the ISD workstreams. You lead negotiations with the customer and coordinate messaging and deal points across the Microsoft deal teams.
 - As the Strategic Deal leader, you are accountable for leveraging and integrating the breadth and depth of Microsoft resources:  Product development, Research & Development, Industry Solutions Delivery, Customer Succes, partner organizations, Digital Advisors, and others to shape a deal that provides (1) a differentiated, valuable, business oriented and winning propositions for the customer, and (2) a compelling deal for Microsoft across volume, longevity and margins and will be accountable for moving the deal forward from ¡°first contact, through shaping, negotiation, close and delivery stabilization.¡±  
 - You will oversee the initiation and mobilization of the delivery teams and ensure alignment with expected deal outcomes.  As the customer facing executive sponsor for deal delivery the CDP leads Microsoft steering committees and provides executive decision making and the escalation path for delivery, engineering / product group and commercial issues.

 
During Delivery stage
- You will be accountable for the financial performance of the deal, including Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR), ISD revenue and margins, and acts as an approver of deal proposals, change requests, financial and consumption forecasts and other key deal and delivery levers."
- You will manage escalations and conflict resolution, addressing issues promptly before they escalate, facilitating open and honest dialogue to resolve conflicts, and seeking win-win solutions that respect all parties' interests.
 - You will ensure collaboration across Internal Senior Leaders, share knowledge and resources to achieve common objectives, encourage cross-departmental initiatives to drive innovation, leverage diverse expertise to enhance decision-making processes.
 - You will lead through uncertainty, remaining adaptable and flexible to change, communicating rationale behind decisions and encouraging a culture of resilience and continuous learning.
