• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent business knowledge and mindset.
• Good knowledge of food industry and market-specific conditions.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in food purchasing.
Your responsibilities
• Take full responsibility for following and securing the food purchase process end-to-end and secure compliance of IWAY, Code of Conduct & business ethics.
• Responsible for building long-term partnerships through the IKEA way of doing business, based on a shared business model, trust & transparency.
• Responsible for supplier performance by professionally challenging suppliers to constantly improve all aspects of their performance.
• Act according to IKEA values and do business with fact-based business leadership.
• Understand the goals and business priorities, follow through on commitments, and achieve results in line with the IKEA vision and values.
• Co-operate with team members in both own and other units to accomplish common goals.
• Seek opportunities for improvement.
