We are currently looking for a Succession planning specialist for a maternity cover in our Service Office People & Culture team to secure our talent pipeline process and succession are in place during FY26.

As a person you are passionate about people and dedicated to contributing to an engaging co-worker experience. You act as an ambassador for the IKEA culture and values and enjoy working with tactical and operational tasks in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment. You know how to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility and are able to express ideas and opinions effectively in verbal and written communication.

We see that you can have a background in HR with previous experience of systematically creating, capturing, sharing, managing and utilising knowledge within IKEA and between co-workers. If you have experience of leading projects as well as experience of translating goals and frameworks into concrete actions, it is an advantage. You speak and write both Korean and English fluently.
About this work area
In the role as Succession planning Specialist, you localise and execute INGKA Group Succession planning concept, framework, approach and process in the country organisation to ensure a strong succession pipeline. You are a partner with each function to secure succession needs across IKEA.

In this role your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Work proactively toward realising the P&D and succession goals of the People Strategy on a country level and strengthening the succession pipeline
• Be responsible for collecting and transmitting country Succession planning needs to the Centre of Expertise
• Produce, analyse and evaluate national succession data to support succession planning for present and future needs
• Lead competence development in the area of succession for the country, ensuring a qualitative and consistent performance throughout
• Cooperate closely with stakeholders in the country organisation to ensure proper identification and development of talents using appropriate P&D & succession strategies, processes and tools
• Support L&C ensuring that global tools and learning offers are used: keeping country learning offer up-to-date, and supporting to coordinate all development of learning solutions.

To be considered for this role you must fulfil the following requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience, ideally minimum 1 year of experience working with performance & development cycle.
• You know IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people, to ensure right representation.
• Ability to influence across all levels of the organization
• Stakeholder management: very good knowledge of how to identify and involve relevant stakeholders in a project, process or question to make things happen.
