We are looking for an enthusiastic, sales driven country Business Leader who¡¯s ready to take ownership of one sector of IKEA product ranges for its commercial performance, to inspire and lead a high-performing team, and to turn customer insights into action. • Extensive knowledge of sales techniques and mechanisms, as well as the pulse of the market including customer trends, competition, and relevant news.
• Broad knowledge of the IKEA concept, brand objectives, values, and vision.
• Good knowledge of project and change management methods, tools, and stakeholder engagement.
• Broad knowledge of the IKEA omnichannel reality and online customer behaviors.
• Broad knowledge of consumer behaviors, emotions, and actions in a retail environment to apply insights into the shopping experience design across all touchpoints.
• Broad knowledge about the Korean market environment and evolving customer expectations to ensure commercial and service offers meet customer needs.
• Broad knowledge of sales activation strategies using the commercial calendar and store activities.
• Broad knowledge of identifying and realizing opportunities for add-ons, cross-selling, and up-selling to meet customer needs.
Your responsibilities
• Drive the long-term growth of the business through the development of the commercial offer, sales techniques, and activities across all channels.
• Steer the range, dimensioning, and price ladder for the HFB to ensure alignment with customer needs and demand.
• Set the local pricing strategy and propose commercial activities, including contributing input on pricing and forecasting for the service offer.
• Take responsibility for sales planning and forecasting for the defined HFBs.
• Steer sales and gross margin across channels to meet targets and respond to deviations to stay aligned with selling objectives.
• Develop local commercial solutions by implementing concepts from Home Furnishing & Retail Design (HFRD), Market Support, and create local initiatives to enhance customer experience and conversion.
• Coach shopkeepers and store co-workers in the market to build competence in selling.
