[Specific Responsibilities]

• Lead financial budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing and engineering operations. 
• Develop and maintain cost accounting processes, including standard costing and inventory valuation; support physical inventory and cycle count processes. 
• Analyze and monitor standard costs, BOMs, routings, and manufacturing variances (labor, overhead, scrap, etc.) to ensure financial targets are met. 
• Provide analyses to evaluate capital investments, capacity planning, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Partner with production and supply chain teams to provide actionable insights on operational KPIs and cost drivers.
• Ensure accurate month-end close for manufacturing and engineering-related accounts, including inventory, COGS, and production expenses. 
• Support audits and ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal controls. 
• Assist in strategic decision-making by providing financial modeling and scenario analysis 
• Support the accounts payable function as needed.

[Basic Qualifications] 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of finance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing processes, inventory management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP experience preferred) and advanced Excel / financial modeling skills. 
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. 
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Adaptability to dynamic business environments.

[Preferred Qualifications] 

• CPA certification
• Understanding of GAAP and IFRS reporting standards
• Previous experience in a start-up or organization experiencing fast growth.
• Previous experience working globally with diverse teams.
