Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) business to Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (¡°PIP¢ç¡±), a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners. At this time, we anticipate that the deal will close in the first half of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions. We expect this role, dedicated to the PPE business, will be part of this future transaction when it closes.
As a Manufacturing Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations.
You will report directly to our Manufacturing Supervisor and you'll work out of our Seoul, IA location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the quality and timeliness of our products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process. Your ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain a safe working environment will be essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set up and operate manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures
• Monitor the production process and make adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and delays
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency
YOU MUST HAVE
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
