Product Manager – Blower, Vacuum and Transport, North
Asia Job Summary
The BVT Product Manager is responsible for
the Blower, Vacuum and Transport product marketing, tendering and price
management in North Asia.
Job
Responsibilities:
Product roadmap and new product
Introduction
1) Build a solid BVT Market Intelligence
database including key applications, competitive landscapes, customers¡¯ needs
of North Asia, as well as understanding where we are
2) Define and develop product roadmap for
North Asia.
3) Lead the launch of new or updated
product/service and ensure that all the volume, profitability and quality
targets defined in the respective business cases are met.
4) Working with product management COE team
to develop and implement marketing promotion plan and program for each new
product and service introduction.
Product and
application support
1) Prepare qualified sales tools and
materials in local languages, conduct product and application training sessions
to enhance North Asia sales team capability
2) Leverage AP and other regions
experiences, build BVT application know how experience and knowledge for North
Asia sales team,
3) Visit key VM customers to collect
customer needs and market trends to fully understand opportunities for
improvements to current product/service and for new or updated product/service.
Project
tendering and margin & price management
1) Lead the non-standard product tendering
by working closely with AP engineering, procurement and manufacturing to
provide timely and effective support to sales.
2) For complicated non- standard solutions
requirements, work with PM COE team or other supporting resource to get it
done.
3) Other sales enablement initiatives and
daily actions assigned by line manager.
4) Build North Asia marketing intelligence
and provide inputs to pricing analyst on price tools updates and revisions
regarding product descriptions, upgrade and changes.
5) Lead the execution of the required
analyses to determine the recommended prices and pricing policies for new or
updated product/service or extensions.
6) North Asia daily pricing management to
ensure top line margin expansion and profitable growth of standard product
whole goods and aftermarket service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor¡¯s degree or above in engineering
related majors (mechanical, energy, chemical, materials, etc.).
- Application experience and knowledge in
industrial vacuum (must) and blower equipment preferred.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in B2B
Product Marketing, Application Engineering or Sales support position.
- Fluent in both verbal and written English
and Korean. Competency in Japanese is preferred but not mandatory.
