Manager, Product Planning, Wholesale(10months) Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: To drive profitable and sustainable market share growth by driving product planning to fit assigned channels and categories while respecting the image of the adidas Group brands Key Responsibilities: Communicate with BU Originals / Basketball /Partnership and AP team of Retail Buying team. Throughout the overall GTM process, input channel request and give feedback by category landscape. Review range, segmentation, and assortment plan from AP team and align with AP team and provide a seasonal range to mono channels. Summarize and prepare seasonal brand strategy for mono channel and deliver the contents to mono partners. Review category & product division sales of mono channel in terms of product planning. Support strategically important key mono partners that focus on department channel during Key account meeting, Collect feedback and support requests from channels in terms of product and range to seek additional sales opportunities. Review actual buy mono channels and be involved in required action plans. Review weekly/monthly sell out results for all categories, all angles and provide relevant channel insights to adequate teams. Share market situation, condition, needs and changes to the respective team head periodically. Key Relationships: Market: Mono Sales, Customer Service, BP&A, BU/Category teams, MOPS, P&I, DTC channels (retail, e-com), Business development, Finance External: Customers Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to implement strategy Presentation/communication, negotiation and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders within a global matrix organization Numerical & analytical skills Cross-functional and stakeholder management experience across commercial functions (e.g. marketing, sales, etc.) and support functions (finance preferred), as well as different organizational levels (Global, Market, etc.) Industry knowledge, across divisions—footwear, apparel and accessories—and across all Bus. Understanding of Korea market consumers, accounts, economic environment and commercial needs Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 3-5 years of work experience in sales, channel, merchandising, buying and products with a recognized top-tier brand in Sports/Fashion industry. Exposure to other marketing disciplines preferable, e.g. retail / ecom / merchandising, or sales channel experience University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience, ideally in Sales and/or Marketing Possess good sense of retail market situation Fluent both in English and Korean AT ADIDAS WE HAVE A WINNING CULTURE.
