Product Marketing Specialist/ Application Specialist
Summary: The responsibilities of the Product Marketing Specialist, South Korea are to develop and execute Product Sales strategies; conduct product presentations in customers¡¯ visits and organize promotion activities in South Korea. He also needs to drive the sales business by achieving the pre-set sales target and continuing to gain the market share in South Korea, as well as to protect ***** Installed sites
This position directly reports to ***** Korea Commercial Head and indirectly reports to APAC Product Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific Region
Responsibilities:
Marketing Responsibilities (60%)
- Provide Product Knowledge support to the Korea sales team and local distributors, such as development of local specific promotional tools, product presentation & demonstration, product configuration & compatibility questions and tender response, etc.
- Be responsible to deliver company¡¯s product presentations with strong ability to position Accuray technologies to prospective and existing customer¡¯s long-term plans and ability to handle relevant product and clinical objection
- Be responsible to develop and execute the product marketing & Sales strategies for the assigned product line in South Korea through collaborating with Asia Pacific Product Marketing team
- Collaborate with Marketing Communication Team to organize the promotional activities to reach our target audiences and to communicate and demonstrate the clinical differentiation of our products
- Regular update of market intelligence information about customers and competitors¡¯ activities, market size & share analysis
- Assist with identification and establishment of Reference Sites in South Korea
- Train Korea sales team and distributors on product knowledge, positioning, differentiation, competitive advantages as well as appropriate usage of clinical related marketing collaterals
- Act as liaison between customers and Asia Product Marketing Team in providing suggestions for product improvements, enhancements, or corrections
Sales Responsibilities (40%)
- Supervise and manage local distributor to drive the sales business and achieve the pre-set sales quota and revenue targets for Korean Market.
- Perform territorial analysis to properly identify prospective clients for our Company¡¯s System and develop related business plans to advance its acquisition.
- Contribute to the continued growth of our organization through consistently achieving quota and growing market share
- Define account strategies and develop critical relationships with surgeons, radiation oncologists, other medical professionals and institutional administrators
- Maintain open and timely communication with Sales & Marketing management regarding sales leads, market challenges, competitive activity and other relevant issues of benefit to the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Engineering field , preference in Radiation Therapy related knowledge.
- 3-5 years in Radiation Therapy industry
- Experience in a customer support role or training role for medical imaging or radiation treatment environment necessary
- Strong skills on communication, presentation, interpersonal, problem solving
- Native in Korean and proficient in spoken and written English
- Good command of computer hardware and software technologies, such as cyber-security, networking, Windows, MS Office, healthcare information system, Salesforce, etc. and knowledge of digital marketing
- Must be a positive, enthusiastic self-starter and also strong advocate of team spirit
- Ability to travel to local customer¡¯s sites and locations in South Korea
