Position Summary
The Head Butler is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the VIP Experience for dignitaries, celebrities, Head of State, VIPs and Casino guests. This includes providing exceptional customer service, anticipating and fulfilling the needs of high profile guests, and ensuring their overall satisfaction throughout their stay.
The Head Butler is responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction. The incumbent will lead a team of Butlers, and coordinate among all departments concerned to meet or exceed the expectations of the VIPs for a memorable stay experience. Assumes other duties assigned by Management as required.
The Head Butler will report directly to the Director of VIP Services.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
VIP Guest Management: Act as the main point of contact for VIP guests, liaising with them before, during, and after their visit to ensure a seamless and personalized experience. Handle all guest requests and inquiries promptly and efficiently.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Works closely with all relevant department to ensure VIP guest requests are actioned in a timely manner, including room allocation, meet and greet services, concierge services, limousine and transportation requests, and other VIP guest requirements.
Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of Butlers and responsible to provide training, supervision, coaching/disciplining, scheduling, and direct staff to carry out the exceptional guest experience and foster an environment for employees to be successful in performance, and further feel engaged and valued. Monitors appropriate standards of conduct, uniform, grooming, hygiene, and appearance of Butlers.
Guest Relations: Build strong relationships with VIP guests, fostering loyalty and trust. Regularly communicate with guests to obtain feedback and address any concerns or issues that may arise during their stay. To provide 24/7 personalized services at the highest-level befitting the INSPIRE standard for each individual VIP to ensure that their stay at INSPIRE Entertainment Resort is memorable.
VIP Program Development: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the VIP guest experience, including exclusive services, amenities, and personalized offerings. Consistently seek new and innovative service initiatives to ¡°wow¡± the VIPs.
Event Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to coordinate VIP events, special promotions, and customized experiences. Ensure flawless execution of these activities, paying attention to detail and delivering a memorable experience for guests.
Budgeting and Reporting: Develop and manage the Butler Services department budget, including monitoring expenses and revenue generation. Prepare P&L and regular reports on key performance metrics, guest feedback, and departmental achievements. To achieve all targets as agreed with the Director of VIP Services.
VIP Service Standards: Establish and enforce service standards and protocols to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service across all guest touchpoints. Train staff in INSPIRE¡¯s standards and monitor & evaluate the performance of the Butler Services team.
Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in VIP service management. Implement innovative strategies to stay competitive and provide unique experiences to VIP guests.
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in Butler Services management within the hospitality or integrated resort industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to communicate in multiple language with English is a must. Knowledge of any another foreign language will be an advantage.
Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve guest issues effectively.
Proficiency in using hotel management software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and late nights.
Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more.
