[담당업무] - Report into General Manager in the Korea office with dotted line into Group CFO
- The Finance manager will take day-to-day responsibility and leadership of Finance team which can be consisting of 4 people spread across GL, AR & AP.
- The role takes full control & ownership of the Finance operation and compliance for the Korea business to local GAAP and HQ reporting.
- Immediate need to continue communication and close gap on Group vs Korea market standards/processes.
- This function requires working with relevant stakeholders, like tax authorities, banks, Board of Directors.
- Forward looking review of function and ability to support the business locally and globally
- Lead external financial audits (Big 4), with experience handling year-end audits and disclosures as a mid-level manager
- Support corporate income tax adjustments (in coordination with Big 4), and independently manage VAT and withholding tax filings
- Manage and understand various intercompany transactions and invoicing processes with HQ/affiliates; capable of transfer pricing calculations
- Oversee cash management (experience in global cash pool systems preferred), AR/AP control, fixed asset management, and monthly closing/reporting to HQ
- Provide leadership and hands-on oversight of all financial operations within the Korea entity
- Preferred Industry Experience: Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarding, Tank Container Companies

- Above BA degree in 4 year's university
- Advanced level of English
– Required for regular reporting to HQ and (MS teams) communications
- Proven experience in people management
- Over 10 years of experience in the finance department of a multinational subsidiary (not exceed 15 years of total working experience)
- Proven experience of running Finance team in Korea market within an International Organization
- Confident and Decisive to run day to day Finance business and ‘upgrade’ current function/skillset
- Strong stakeholder communications skills with the ability to build strong and positive relationships
- M&A experience desirable but not essential
- Open minded and strong cultural fit
