1. Business Intelligence
- Perform analysis of key industry trends, general socio-economic and political environment, legal and regulatory issues, and customer insights.
- Propose positioning strategies for new car launches in collaboration with product management teams.
- Prepare and develop regional and global reports regarding market overviews and forecasts to support company planning and strategic decision-making.
- Support senior management business reports with timely and accurate industry data and business insights.
2. Market Intelligence
- Deliver comprehensive market analytics for both mature and emerging markets, including market share, growth trends, and segmentation analysis.
- Maintain and manage industry databases such as KAIDA and KAMA to ensure timely availability of reliable data.
- Provide monthly competitor sales trend updates and benchmark analysis for internal and global teams.
- Provide industry forecast including monthly and annual forecasts.
- Track and report on pricing trends of key competitors.
3. Product Planning Support
- Analyze and report on competitor product and pricing information to evaluate current price positioning and support pricing strategy.
- Collect, analyze, and report on historical and current performance data across key product metrics (segment, engine displacement, fuel type, drivetrain, etc.) to inform future product strategy.
- Provide ongoing analytical support to Product Management based on market intelligence and competitor insights.
4. Market Research & Customer Insights
- Lead coordination of NCBS (New Car Buyer Survey) operations, including:
- Quota setting through collaboration with region team
- Preparing and delivering customer lists for each wave
- Analyzing NCBS results to extract actionable insights as needed
- Act as a liaison for KAIDA-led market research, gathering research needs from internal teams and coordinating communication with KAIDA.
5. Cross-Functional & Global Communication
- Serve as a central communication point for disseminating market intelligence insights across departments and to headquarters.
- Collaborate closely with global teams to align local insights with regional and global market intelligence initiatives.
Qualifications
- Related working experience: +2 years¡¯ experience (automotive industry preferred)
- Education: Bachelor
- Language: Intermediate level of written and spoken English
