Management of all A/C and WH handling processes at the stations in the geographical area in compliance with all relevant directives (safety, security, legal requirements, processes, quality, maintenance of qualifications and skills, etc) Achievement of financial and non-financial handling KPIs, including performance analysis and definition of corrective action in case of deviations Operational steering of own staff as well as activity of service providers Liaison with LCAG handled other carriers, where applicable, to service their needs and relay these to staff Contribution to LCAG Supplier Relationship Mgt. (SRM) activity from the local perspective. Where applicable, participation in negotiations on external handling services as part of the relevant ¡°procurement team¡± on the basis of LCAG¡¯s production strategy Responsibility for organizing and opening new stations in the geographical area according to related LCAG standard Implementation of central process directives, respectively adaption of local adjustments within the prescribed framework Implementation of regional or local measures meant for the support of the worldwide Handling strategy. Assures continuous process improvements within export and import cargo services in the geographical area Close cooperation with LCAG¡¯s Regional and central handling organization (esp. FRA F/HG) to ensure a seamless worldwide LCAG production system Adheres to Quality Manual procedures, takes responsibility for the quality system, and promotes a preventative culture using the tools provided Close contact to the local sales team in order to understand customer requirements and collaborate on high customer satisfaction Management of necessary interfaces with airport, customs and other relevant external authorities Where applicable, oversees the building/facility maintenance as well as contractual agreements for equipment etc. Observance of relevant compliance directives by the handling team Participation in negotiations of contracts/agreements for aircraft handling like SGHA etc. Ensures quality and a SMS reporting on local level btw station and GHA as well as to Headquarter Where applicable, execution of L-Level responsibilities People Management
Disciplinary leadership of the local handling team Manages, encourages, guides and evaluates his/her team members, this includes agency staff contracted by LCAG Promotes and ensures people development Plans and manages economical utilization of all manpower to maintain defined service standards
