Job Purpose
This job aims to maintain safety and healthy workplace by identifying occupational health and wellbeing risks and opportunities that may affect the organization¡¯s business and employees¡¯ work, and establishing the plan for risk control to prevent and manage potential risks.
Key Responsibilities
Health management required by the Occupational Safety and Health Act and Serious Disaster Punishment Act (Appointment of health officer is mandatory)
Establishment and monitoring of health education (In case of recruitment/ Periodic education/ First aid, etc.)
Management of general medical examination targets and examination rates, follow-up management for examination results, and health promotion activities, etc.
Establishment of a response plan for medical emergency situations such as infectious disease-related
Record of health works, and report and management about industrial accidents
Health related works required by the Regulations on Occupational Safety and Health Standards.
Understand about industrial safety and cooperation with safety manager to ensure employee¡¯s safety
Health management required by Global GSK EHS and Occupational Health & Wellbeing
Application of health regulations to local organizations of Enterprise-wide EHS standards and Risk-based standards
Establishment of strategic health plans aimed at improving employee wellbeing and health
LOC-related works such as Global health & wellbeing program introduction and operation
Besides, Health related works related to Global EHS and Occupational Health & Wellbeing
Other business support tasks, etc.
Requirements
Korea nurse license holder
Understanding of the overall health officer¡¯s work, such as industrial health and industrial hygiene
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a corporate work environment
Minimum career criteria required to perform health officer¡¯s work prescribed by the Act. Able to work within a corporate environment, working with stakeholders from various department.
Fluent verbal & written communication skill both in Korean & English
High level of MS office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
Coordination skills to align and communicate with stakeholders
Results-oriented and self-motivated
Ability to work with numerical data and perform quantitative analysis
Ability to lead and manage projects
(Preferred) Industrial hygiene management industrial engineer or ergonomic engineer certificate
