Key Responsibilities
Business Ownership:
Develop and execute a robust territory business plan leveraging face-to-face as well as digital engagements with HCPs to create a personalized omni-channel experience for our customers with strong business leadership
Prioritize the best opportunities to impact/grow the business
Champion collaboration and teamwork with internal and external key stakeholders
Keep elevating your business ownership, scientific knowledge and patient focused customer engagement capabilities
Scientific Knowledge:
Understand the body of evidence and use the latest GSK-approved research insights to enhance your patient-focused discussions with customers
Continuously sharpening disease state, product, competitor and market knowledge and future innovative medicines across the industry
Stay up to date with all key global and local treatment guidelines aligned to the disease state
Adeptly showcase the best disease state information and resources to maintain the highest level of evidence
Utilize scientific knowledge and insight from the latest clinical studies to support best treatment outcomes for patients and build credibility with customers
Patient-Focused Customer Engagement:
Leverage all elements of the total account approach, and PFSS, to move the customer and account along the brand adoption journey and achieve a 'Good Selling Outcome¡¯
Develop deep understanding of customers, their treatment goals, and challenges in providing optimal treatment to cancer patients
Discuss insights and treatment options with customers aligned to patient profiles and needs
Personalize the total account call plan with clearly defined tactics, questions, challenges and resources you plan to use for a high impact call continuum
Integrated Customer Experience:
Effectively utilize customer insights and a variety of channels to deliver a higher-impact customer and account experience
Support the implementation of key programs which differentiate and enhance GSK¡¯s standing in the healthcare market
Evaluate the impact of your customer engagements through determining the next best actions to advance each key individual in the account
Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to create peer-to-peer learning opportunities
Adapt and enable change within the team/organization to optimize performance and enhance the connection we have with our customers as a proactive enabler
Ensure all activities and plans are executed in alignment with GSK¡¯s high ethics and compliance standards and all applicable local legal requirements and regulations.
Basic Qualifications
At least 3 years of pharmaceutical sales or medical field experience
Experienced Key Account Manager
Good understanding of the science of oncology products
Capable of utilizing scientific knowledge/insight from the clinical studies
Understanding of all key stakeholders (clinical and payor) and the local healthcare system (including access and routes to market) for the assigned territory and products
Strong leadership and change management credentials
Capable of working across boundaries and functional areas
High resilience and agility
Ability to comply with GSK code of conducts, regulations, and SOPs
Preferred Qualifications
Comprehensive oncology (immune-oncology or gynecologic disease) experience preferred
Self-motivated, high-energy team player with exceptional organizational skills, strategic thinking, ability to multitask, attention to detail, and follow-through on assigned responsibilities
Strong business acumen and demonstrated sound business judgement
Ability to adapt quickly and perform in a fast paced and dynamic market
Frequent travel may be required with broad territory (national level)
