Regulatory Affairs(RA) Specialist
[담당업무]
- Provide regulatory support throughout the product lifecycle (strategy, submissions, post-market).
- Monitor and interpret cosmetic ingredient regulations and upcoming MFDS changes; alert headquarters in advance.
- Manage testing requirements based on product category (general, functional cosmetics, quasi-drugs).
- Ensure packaging and labeling compliance, including Korean label review and coordination.
- Review cosmetic claims to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Handle product notifications, approvals, new ingredient listings, and EDI notifications.
- Maintain expertise in MFDS classification, documentation, and pre-market approval processes.
- Act as liaison between HQ and MFDS, ensuring proper product registrations.
- Conduct product inspections and report compliance risks or failures.
- Prepare and manage regulatory documentation and reports:
- Cosmetic Safety Report, Pre-Import Report, Import Management Report, Packaging Information, etc.
- Track and communicate regulatory updates to headquarters.
[자격요건]
Skills/Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of the Korean cosmetic regulatory framework
- Bilingual: Korean & English fluency
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in cosmetology, science, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years in Regulatory Affairs (cosmetics preferred)
