Seeking candidates with solid experience in planning and buying for women¡¯s apparel lines.
[Position Summary] This role is responsible for planning and buying of the Women¡¯s Apparel category, driving seasonal strategies, and collaborating with both global and local MD teams. The position will leverage market analysis and strategic planning to support sales growth and brand development.
[Key Responsibilities] - Product Assortment & Collaboration - Work closely with the Sales team to plan product assortment for POS. - Act as the main communication contact point with regional and global MD teams. - Seasonal Development & Management - Responsible for local design (or SMU) development and management each season. - Introduce new season collections and share product strategies and sales points with internal teams at conventions. - Market & Business Analysis - Regularly prepare analysis reports on sales trends, category performance, and area insights. - Analyze market trends and monitor competitor performance. - Strategic Planning & Forecasting - Develop, execute, and propose the strategic annual business plan in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing teams. - Participate in consensus meetings to establish demand forecasts. - Manage inventory levels of core products to maximize sell-through and minimize stock investment.
